Met jaarlijks meer dan 35 trailwedstrijden (38 in 2026) en duizenden deelnemers is Trailrun.be uitgegroeid tot hét trailrunningplatform in de Benelux. Maar succes heeft ook een keerzijde. In 2025 werd het bemachtigen van een startbewijs bijna moeilijker dan de wedstrijd zelf lopen

De cijfers spreken voor zich:
1. 19 evenementen waren volledig uitverkocht, vaak weken of maanden op voorhand
2. 10 andere zaten voor meer dan 80% vol
3. Maar liefst 99 van de 138 verschillende afstanden waren volledig volgeboekt
4. Bij één enkel event stonden meer dan 1000 lopers op de wachtlijst, waarvan 95% nooit aan de start verscheen

Deze schaarste leidde tot frustratie bij onze trouwe lopers die aanwezig zijn op vele events, maar er niet meer in slaagden zich tijdig in te schrijven.

Vanaf 2026 wordt per event maximaal 20% van de startbewijzen beschikbaar gesteld aan niet-leden. Het grotendeels ( 80%) van de startbewijzen zijn dus voorbehouden aan onze leden.
