The year nearly started and Sportevents comes up with two new events. Meet the Maredsous Trail & Walk in Maredsous.

On the 8th of May we'll meet near the abbey of Maredsous, world famous for its beer and cheese, for a challenging trail run or a brisk walk. Choose between a distance of 7, 15 or 25km and discover the magnificent surroundings with endless forests and little charming villages of the province of Namur.

Sportevents  chose for an undulating route with 560 metres altitude on the distance of 25km surrounding the region of Molignée. In Spring the valley colours beautifuly green and is perfectly accessible for runners and hikers. Ideal for neophytes and experienced trail runners.

New course in a familiar region

The Maredsous Trail & Walk are two new events in a new area, the region is not unknown territory for Sportevents. After the EPIC200, a 200km mountainbike race in Maredsous, they decided to mould the small tracks and steap roads in an awesome trail for runners and hikers. With a last heavy climb towards the abbey you'll reach the finish line where you'll be rewarded with a cold Maredsous beer.
