The Nisraman expands : 100% offroad and a non drafting 1/4
The Nisraman has been a household name for years and is one of the most special triathlons in the Benelux. While a normal triathlon consists of 3 disciplines, the Nisraman has one extra. The bike trial consists of 2 different parts: the first part (42km) has to be done on the road. You use a TT bike or a normal racing bike. The second part is 20km long and is completed by mountain bike.
The list of past winners includes Yeray Luxem, Wouter vander Mast and Sylvain Denis, while for the women, Christine Verdonk heads the list, followed by several Dutch women: Sandra Wassink - Hitzert and Claudia Striekwold.
For the 10th edition, scheduled for Sunday, July 24, Sportevents has planned something special. Besides the traditional Nisraman, with its 4 disciplines, they are organizing 2 additional events, so now really no one has an excuse not to participate.
NISRAMAN - ROAD - NON DRAFTING 1/4 |new
The "road" version of the Nisraman is especially for those who do not have a mountain bike and do not like to play in the woods. After a 1000m swim in the beautiful barrage de Nisramont, there are 42 hard kilometers of cycling waiting. Both the côte de Fily and the Mur of Maboge have to be climbed twice. While the Fily is still a runner with an average gradient of 6%, it's hard work on the Mur de Maboge (average gradient 9.7%).
The subsequent running test consists of a course of 5km ( 2x), which is just like the bike course not flat.

For the real off road fanatics, who love the Xterra work and who are not in possession of a racing bike, we have created a 100% off road event with true Xterra allure to lick your fingers and thumbs. After swimming, the participants jump directly on their mountain bikes to start the physically and technically challenging mtb lap of 20km (2 x) after an approach zone (climb of 2km). They finish with an equally challenging trail run of 10km (2 x a lap of 5km).
The registrations for this 10 edition will start on 20 October 2021.
